Water Outage Scheduled for 3/2/2022

The booster pump station project is close to completion and will require a shutdown in water service to complete the changeover to the new station. This shutdown is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, 2022, pending any start up issues.

Call for Nominations – May 2022 FHMD Election

Notice is hereby given that a regular election will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, three (3) directors will be elected to serve a three-year term and two (2) directors will be elected to  serve a one-year term.  Self-nomination forms are available by clicking on “View this Notice” link.

FHMD – Forest Hills Gate Access

Last week, it was noted that the antenna at the keypad to the Forest Hills gate had been vandalized. This caused issues when using clickers to gain entry at that gate. The antenna was fixed yesterday and gate clickers should be working normally now.
We continue to work with the vendor on increasing the distance at which the clicker will activate the gate.

Monday, January 10, 2022 – Temporary Water Service Outage


Please be advised that work related to the booster pump station replacement project will require another temporary service outage on Monday, January 10, 2022 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Work Plan this Week – Shut Downs Requested

Wednesday/Thursday: 1/5/2022 and 1/6/2022: 

Please be advised that work related to the booster pump station replacement project will cause intermittent, temporary water outages on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Specifically:

Wednesday’s outages will affect sections of the community at different times through the day and will last no more than two hours for each section.

Thursday’s outage will affect the entire community at the same time and will last no more than 4 hours. We will send additional information once we have a specific timeframe for this outage. 

Water & Sewer Update to FHMD Community

This is a further update with regard to the upcoming change in limits for the Total Inorganic Nitrogen (TIN) in our wastewater plant effluent that will become effective August 31st, 2023. The Board has been working closely with the team that supports our water & sewer infrastructure operations to successfully define a path to compliance in 2022.
