DISTRICT UPDATES
- 2025 Mandatory Summer Water Restrictions
Every year the Forest Hills Metropolitan District institutes water restrictions for the summer and the same is true this year. The reason for these restrictions is simple, all of our water comes from 10 wells located around the District but demand in the summer increases significantly because of increased outdoor water use. Without water restrictions, there may not be enough water to meet demand.
- FHMD Riva Chase 2025 Drinking Water Quality Report
We are pleased to present to you this year’s water quality report. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. Please contact RONDA ZIVALICH at 303-495-2330 with any questions or for public participation opportunities that may affect water quality. Please see the water quality data from our wholesale system(s) (either attached or included in this report) for additional information about your drinking water.
- Notice of Election Cancellation
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Forest Hills Metropolitan District, Jefferson County,
Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not

pursuant to section 1-13.5-513 C.R.S. - Playground Construction Begins This Week – 02/24/2025
We are excited to report that renovation of the playground along Hill and Dale Road is set to begin this Wednesday, February 26th. The site preparation work is expected to take five to six weeks depending on the weather. Installation of the playground equipment will follow, with an estimated schedule of three to four weeks, also weather dependent.
On Wednesday playground site work will begin. The existing playground equipment will be disassembled, and the site will be regraded. New retaining walls will be constructed to accommodate a larger footprint. The new play area will feature a composite play-structure with a playhouse and climbing and sliding features. The existing swings will be relocated to the new play area.
We appreciate your patience as we work to improve this community space, and ask that that children and adults stay clear of the construction zone, while the work is in progress. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
